PricingFor Energy Star® certification of new homes:This is a three phase process. In phase one, done during pre-construction, we will perform a projected rating using the home plans. A report will be generated and suggestions may be made at this time for energy efficient upgrades necessary to meet or even exceed Energy Star® qualifications. Phase two is a site visit during the construction process where the rater verifies insulation and air sealing quality with a thermal bypass checklist. Phase three, after completion of the home, includes a final inspection and blower door test. Please understand that achieving Energy Star® certification can only be verified at phase three of the certification process and cannot be guaranteed. $475 for all homes up to 2,000 square feet, and $50 for every additional 500 square foot increment. Price includes a mandatory $45 Provider archiving fee.
Payment is expected at the time of each phase of certification process. For Energy Ratings on existing homes:$425 for all homes up to 2,000 square feet, and $50 for every additional 500 square foot increment.
